Saturday April 25th- Join us in a fun and exciting social distancing running challenge. ALL proceeds will go to W4W "Help the Helpers" program, supporting first responders with safe, energy and nutrition rich meal packs.

THE CHALLENGE: inspired by yeti trail runners Yeti Ultra 24 Hr Challenge

STARTING AT MIDNIGHT 0:00 ON SATURDAY 4/25 Run 5 miles every 4 hours for 24 hours THE RULES: 1. have fun 2. stay hydrated 3. It doesn't matter where you run i.e. trail, road, treadmill (follow all local laws and social distancing recommendations) 4. You can run/walk/jog 1 mile 5 times or 5 mile all at once BUT for every 4 hour period only 5 miles count. (no accumulating miles for future time blocks with longer runs than 5 miles) So starting at midnight 12-4am is block 1, 4am-8am is block 2, 8-12pm is block 3, 12-4pm is block 4, 4pm-8pm is block 5, 8pm- 12am is block 6. Comprende?

THE FUN: Dress up, get creative, have fun with it. Take video and photo updates throughout the day ( a page setup for posting on instagram will be created- more details to come- also check @socialdistancerunclub) this way from a distance we can still create community and have fun with the event together. Ideally an event video montage will also be created so have fun with the videos!!

IF 5 miles x 6 runs is too much no worries- this isn't about the miles- alternatively do 2 or 3 miles every 4 hours or do 5 miles every 4 for 12 hours or 20 or WHATEVER YOU WANT TO DO. Just have fun and tell your friends. Encouraged donation for participation is $20. Cheers!
