Project Overview

After an earthquake and a volcano, Cyclone Pam ripped through the South Pacific devastating the people of the area. Waves For Water's Executive Director, Christian Troy is spearheading the effort transporting water filtration supplies to help with disaster relief. In partnership with The World Surfing League, many people will have access to clean drinking water. With winds of more than 185 mph, Cyclone Pam leveled homes, smashed boats and washed away roads and bridges as it struck late on Friday and into Saturday. Aid workers described the situation as catastrophic.
