Water for Central America!
According to the United Nations Water Cooperation, 783 million people do not have access to clean water and 6 to 8 million people die annually from the consequences of disasters and water-related diseases. In Latin America about 70 million people do not have a reliable source of drinking water. Roughly 810,000 children under the age of five die every year due to water borne illness. With a rapidly growing population, environmental degradation, financial constraints, poor infrastructure, and pollution many villages in Central America are suffering from the inaccessibility to safe water. Please help us provide poverty stricken areas of Panama and Nicaragua access to what our bodies need most to thrive. We will be delivering these filters ourselves and demonstrating to the locals how to use them correctly and efficiently.
