Southern Mexico Clean Water Project
I have been blessed and privileged to grow up with clean drinking water readily available at my convenience..but a lot of people haven't. Growing up in Southern California, I had the opportunity to visit the country of Mexico via a 3.5hr car ride. While being down there I quickly noticed that their drinking water was not safe to drink. I truly love to travel and help others along the way so I thought this would be a great experiment.
A little goes a long way for what I am trying to achieve. I am trying to drop off 5 "MVP Filters" on my journey through Southern Mexico.
Jon Rose (founder of Waves for Water) did the estimated math and each "MVP Filter" will provide enough clean water for 100 people per day. If maintained properly, these filters will last for many, many years!!
My Goal: Raise $250.00. Drive down through Southern Mexico. Teach and help others on how to utilize the "MVP Filters" for generations to come with a big smile :)
I will document my journey and then send a little video once it has all come full circle.
DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND LOVE WHAT YOU DO!
