Central South America Water Project

Everett , WA USA

Project Overview

Water is life.

We can survive about three days without water. However, lack of water isn't an issue. Lack of clean, safe water is THE issue.

Over 700 million people do not have access to clean and safe water worldwide.

In developing countries, as much as 80% of illnesses are linked to poor water and sanitation conditions.

Over half of all hospital beds worldwide are occupied by someone with a water borne illness.

Over 400 million school days are lost each year due to water-related diseases.

With available clean, contaminant free water there is HOPE.

Studies have shown that clean sources of water can break cycles of poverty.

Education rates for girls that have access to clean drinking water rise significantly because they are not having to spend hours each day gathering water.

Access to clean water reduces the amount of days missed from employment and school.

In other words, water is life, in so many ways.

Most metropolitan areas have some form of water treatment. Rural and remote areas of most countries don't have the economic resources to have their water treated. This is a viable solution for those in need of life saving clean water.

You can help provide the life saving solution through your generous gift of clean, contaminant free water by donating today.
